Dutch Uncle

Another headline I misread (which makes me chuckle, I suppose it's my Inner Child, not sure though)
How to make peace? Colombia's histrionic deal has lessons for Syria

Perhaps it's just my sarcasm that gets the better of me.

the banana man, from the old captain kangaroo show.  loved him as a kid, still think he's hilarious.  showed him to both my daughters (via youtube - but i don't have a link) they said that if this was the kind of stuff i was raised on, no wonder i'm a little nuts!

Three Roses

Capt. Kangaroo & Mr Green Jeans! :D

These days I get a healthy dose of laughter from animal videos. There's just something about animals!

My IC loves to play with the disabled kids at work. They make her laugh. All the time.

Today I walked to the mall with a boy. He is a teen. I think his mental age is about 6-7. Which for me is just before the abuse started, so it touches the carefree girl part of before that time. IC and him are very fond of each other. Grown me too. He has severe ADHD and is so enthusiastic. We can jump and play and hold hands and joke.

There were big cuddly dinosaurs in the mall. And he loves cushions. So we looked at all the soft cushions in the mall and touched them. And the dinosaurs too. It was our little quest. It made us so happy that all the people smiled endearingly at us. Haha. These kind of things are great to my IC.

IC also likes cuddling. And creativity. And baking cookies or bread. Mum would do these things, in good periods. She was good at it.
