Another Update- Still hospitalized.

Hey everyone, I feel the need to update you and share...
So, I'm in a psychiatric hospitalization due to CPTSD with a sexual background.
I've been here for two weeks and have one more week left.
I'm very bummed, feeling like I'm missing out. I'm overwhelmed by the things that have come up in therapy here. I'm a mess.
I feel like I haven't used my time here optimally until now.
I feel like I'm in a storm that's swallowing me. A lot of flashbacks and traumas are surfacing.
I'm trying to salvage the time I have left here and make the most of every minute.
Hoping this last week will be more successful than the last two.

Aw Rizzo. 

I'm sure you aren't wasting time. Going slow is all we can handle. Is it possible to stay linger if you feel it would be helpful?

ime it takes a good while to really absorb what's going on inpatient stays, to really feel present there and take that on. I wish you could get a longer stay if that's what you feel you need.

I just read your initial post.

I am new to this forum & recognise your feeling of being overwhelmed......& just not being able to find the focus/energy/desire (whatever it is) to 'make the most' of certain opportunities.

I was just wondering how you're getting on now.  I hope much better.
