Hi all,

So my New Years resolution is to be totally relentless in my recovery. I find I get caught up in the 'I'll never get better' mind set, which is another symptom in itself, when I am on here. Reading through everyone's struggles comforts me a little to know I'm not alone but makes me angry to hear how peoples lives are effected by this illness. It is an unhealthy anger that eats away at me.

I have decided to leave the forum and try to be more solution focused. I tend to read up about cptsd and dwell, but really do very little action wise. I feel like I am using this forum to 'freeze'.

I just want to thank everyone for your support and comments.
Strength and love to you all over the festive season, I know it's a hard time for many.

I understand and wish you the best on your journey.  A year since I've joined I find that I am careful to discern when posts will contribute to my recovery and avoid dwelling.  I think I know what you mean.  So if you decide to return in the future perhaps you will find some other ways the forum can best support you at that time.  But, it sounds like stepping away is best for you right now.   I trust you to make the decision that's best for you.  Thank you for letting us know.
