Hi

Does anyone have any recommendations for life insurance brokers that specialise in people with a mental health or CPTSD diagnosis? Need cover for my mortgage but have been 'postponed' under one direct application because of my CPTSD and think I need a broker who knows the market around this.
Thanks

No, sorry, I don't.

I was wondering though if the answer might depend on what country you live in? And if that's the case, if you want to write what country that is? You don't have to, but just consider if it's appropriate.

I'm in the UK, and did an AI search which came up with Reassured or LifeSearch as the main suggestions. I agree you need a broker because any direct or comparison sites don't have the expertise to quote and may auto-decline. You don't want declinatures because insurers tend to look askance if someone has already declined you.

You will be aware, I'm sure, but the point deserves to be made anyway, that you need to be scrupulously honest in answering all questions connected to insurance, and more detail is better than less. It may result in a more expensive product but a cheap product is worth nothing if a claim is denied.

Thanks. Agree that it's a fools errand to lie to get cover as there won't be a payout, which leaves loved ones in a turmoil. Expecting to pay higher premiums for the peace of mind.
