Hello everyone,

I am a new member recovering from severe coercive control and financial entrapment. I have been sober for over six months and am rebuilding my life from scratch. I'm glad to be here so I don't feel so alone.

That's a tough relationship to get out of so good for you! Also, it's awesome that you stopped drinking

Hello Butterfly, welcome.  I'm glad you've found such a supportive and welcoming place.  It sounds like a bad situation that you've gotten out of.  Six months is a great accomplishment! 

Having to rebuild sucks, but at least you get to choose how it gets built now.
