Hi all, glad to be here. 56 yo 35yrs clean and sober. Have been banging away at healing cptsd for 8 years now with and without professional help. Seems I'm at a crunch point and having peers is welcome. Looking forward to reading/sharing.

Good on you for 35 years sober!     I always find it amazing given the emotional struggles we deal with that survivors are able to put addiction behind them.

The connection with others going through the same or similar things seems to be an important part of OOTS so I hope you find being here helpful.
