Hello, I need some help hiding or keeping private my email

Hello, I'm Haro I'm new here and I tried looking everywhere on here to hide my email from the public and let others send me pms instead. Is there a glitch that won't allow you to take it off public view? Or it's mandatory? I don't feel safe with it public so if anyone can help me, it be much appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I suspect what you are seeing is beneath your member name, where you will see your IP address and for some reason an option to send an email and an option to start a PM, just above your IP address.

If you look at the posts of the other members, though, you will not see that information about them. Your information is visible only to you. We cannot see it.

Oh I see.. alright  thank you I wasn't sure how things worked here. I haven't been on a forum in a 2 years or even talked to others online as well. So I'm newish and rusty. Thank you for letting me know, I really appreciate it.

Please don't worry about your e-mail address. It isn't visible for others. I know it looks like it is, but it isn't. Only you see it when you're logged in. I had the same fear when I joined. Thank you for bringing it up.
