The Healing Porch - Part 9

Welcome to the healing porch part 9

I am venturing onto this Healing Porch - a place that initially parts of me were slightly concerned/distrusting of - but which now feels like a gentle and welcoming place - right now I'm settling down on a grassy mound nearby to the Porch and I brought some steaming hot chocolate to share in a flask.  I am contemplating the scenery and the lovely flowers I can see.  It feels supportive and safe here.  I'm very grateful for the people who gather here.

I see you over there Hope and I am waving.  When you feel safe enough please come sit with me. You don't have to say much if anything, but I'd love to share your hot chocolate and just soak up this wonderful place together.

I found myself walking barefoot on the grass, admiring the lovely flowers yet giving Hope distance & privacy, being unobtrusive with my movements & sounds. Maybe this takes place further away from the porch. I look at the way the flowers sway in the wind, their comforting scent mingling. Some butterflies & bees drifting lazily (but conveniently always far away from people who are afraid of them 😅). Someone has hung a wind chime/suncatcher in one of the the trees, it tingles softly once in a while.

How lovely that people are coming back to the Porch! I'm walking barefoot down the wooden steps onto the leaf-strewn grass round about. It is autumn but the sun is warm on my head and on the ground and on my feet.

I always feel the cold if a breeze blows so I'm snuggled up in a blanket, just minding my own business and thinking. It's nice to see everyone else here.
