My Adopted Ideal Parent

Hello ; I read the posts about creating an ideal parent figure ,I watched the video,I tried , however , I could not relate ,nor form an ideal parent figure ,what I did  years ago , was to adopt , a film actor, who was a total peach, his kids adored him, I read all about his wonderful care for them, since he was famous,I can listen to his voice from radio shows,which is so so soothing for me .I can watch his commercial movies and his family home movies, I have an item that belonged to him, that I can hold ,for me, someone who was real, whom I could adopt is very helpful ,I have even had warm and loving dreams in which we interact , and he is totally, safe, he died before I was born.
