Hi,
I am new to the group and I'm glad I've found you. I am 62 and my trauma started when I was 6 or 7 and lasted until I was 15. I THOUGHT I had done a good job of ignoring it until I was 40, when a family reunion pretty much made me implode. At the time I was married ( my husband was not aware of the trauma .... no one was ) with 3 children and within a year, I was separated, gambling, drinking, quit my job, let my husband have the kids ..... Long story short I am still here, still trying to deal with it. Some days are good other not so much. I have been in counseling on and off but I have never been in a group or online forum so here I am. Thank You for accepting me
