Title: Guideines Reminder - Long Posts
Post by: Kizzie on June 14, 2018, 07:06:53 PM
Blueberry and I are noticing a lot of really long posts and in accordance with our Member Guidelines (http://cptsd.org/forum/index.php?topic=1616.0) must ask that members please keep posts to 2 - 3 shorter paragraphs at the most. If you have a lot to say (and we understand this), try breaking your posts down into several smaller posts.  Long posts are difficult to read, especially when they include a number of different issues.  Also, please use paragraph breaks in posts. It makes it much easier for members to read and ups the chances that members will read and respond.

You may also want to consider starting a journal. We don't normally restrict the length of posts in journals because we know members often need a place to sort through their thoughts and feelings.  Individual journals are thought of as a place where members write more for themselves than for feedback/responses.

Please be aware that we will be editing posts and/or warning members who write overly long posts on a regular basis.  (We will not, however, do so with members who only occasionally write longer posts.)

Thanks for your cooperation,

Kizzie
