I post this in the cafe, since it's a very preliminary finding of research, and the researchers themselves question the validity of their methodology to draw far reaching conclusions.
- The research only included women
- They reported on how they themselves rated 'fidgeting', and there has been no independent measuring
- Only total sitting time has been reported/asked about, not the length of 'continuous sitting'.
But a nice subject for in the pub, and/or easy your mind if you are worrying about being 'such a stupid nervous fidgeter!' (dixit the Inner Critic).
