Thanks for your thoughtfulness in adding this link. I've had a lot of resistance in identifying myself using this strategy, because I prefer to see myself as a (tough) fighter. Oh well, some delusions die hard. This is right up my alley in terms of basic understanding as well as the neurological aspects. I haven't seen anything quite as good.
Learning about the Safe state, as well as tend-and-befriend allows me to move into compassion.
