In the distance
Out of reach
Too high

I strive
I try
I push

Never enough

Too much
Too little
Not right

I cry
I bleed
I bruise

Never enough

Wait
Stop
Wait

I pause
I consider
I see

The objective is arbitrary and unattainable
I am enough because I am me

Your last two lines pack a real punch and made me smile RainyDiary. Altogether an effective poetic statement!
