She hid behind a tree
the forgotten child in me
when I found her..
eventually.
I was to her, another
to mistrust; an adult with
staring eyes. I had to
wait.
To go back every day,
showing up, reaching out;
allowing her to
flee.
Yesterday, she was
not there.
I turned, and in the sunlight
down the field, she was playing
on a fallen tree, and
smiling.
I smiled back. It is the
beginning.
This is so beautiful clarity, it shows a lot of self love and promise for your future.

Beautifully said, Clarity. Thank you.
For me, It highlights how hard, but also how easy and liberating it feels when one finds that innocent part we still have; to realize that we all can find that inner but often hidden child's playful and wise presence, sometimes hidden but always there.
Thankyou x
This was a real experience during innerchild work over a period of many weeks... :)
