Title: Has anyone ever sought support on Reddit?
Post by: On the edge of hope on October 23, 2016, 09:38:07 PM
It's been horribly harsh nearly each time that I attempted to seek emotional support. It's triggering. I feel the morale over there has gone way downhill.
Has anyone else had bad experiences? Or even good ones?

I like it here. :)  I'm not sure I'd trust the responses from people who hang out there.

It depends on what board you use on reddit. I found the "raised by narcissists" board to be very supportive and safe. But that is for people with a specific sort of trauma background. Some of the boards there are outright hateful. I find it useful to read the right side of the page - the rules of each board. Some have "no bullying, no body shaming, no judgements" and those are good for emotional support.
