We're Stephanie (most people call us Stevie). We are 27 years old and a traumagenic multiple system who has dissociative identity disorder and cptsd.
We use we/us/our/ours to refer to ourselves instead of I/me/my/mine.
We were very happy to find your forum and it's resources as we were just diagnosed with cptsd yesterday and are still trying to understand and make sense of everything.
Hello stephanie, welcome to Out of the Storm.
I believe there's been some discussion recently in the forum's Group Work section about the book 'Coping with Trauma-Related Dissociation'. I've not been involved myself but you may get something of value from it since you mentioned having dissociative identity disorder. You'll find it in:
CPTSD and US / Group Work / Book Club

I hope the forum in general can be of help to you regarding your recent CPTSD diagnosis. Feel free to post, if and when you want to, or simply just read (I tend to just read). If you want, maybe you can explain about the process of getting your diagnosis.
Hi and a warm welcome to OOTS Stevie :heythere:
Punchdrunk is correct - there is a group currently working through the book 'Coping with Trauma-Related Dissociation' if you'd like to join in. There are 3 or 4 members and they're currently in Chap 2. They've decide to go fairly slowly so you could easily catch up. You may want to learn about CPTSD first though I don't know. If so please have a look around, there are lots of resources.
Most of us know about Dissociative Identify Disorder, but not "traumagenic multiple system." Can you tell us more about this?
