Hi. I hope someone can help. Once I have read even one post in a thread, the thread disappears when I come back later. How can I see these threads again? I have looked at the user manual, but can't find answers. I hope it's not too much to figure out!
Usually the thread will reappear on the list of unread posts once somebody else has also replied.
If you can remember what forum section a thread was on you can find it via the index. Or you could use the search function, though I don't know how good that is or isn't on this forum software as I very rarely use it for this purpose. I guess it would have too many results unless you happen to remember a more unusual word.
Or you could post a reply on the thread in question if you know you will want to come back to it. And then it will show up on "my posts".
I'm sure others will chime in with further suggestions if they know other options.

I find the search function here works quite well.
In the Search Parameters, you can enter the message age (anywhere from 1 - 9999 days iirc) which will certainly reduce the number of results.
Thank you both! This forum software is not very user friendly! Very strange. Anyway, I hope to get used to the kinks.
We do seem to be having a bit of a glitch with this but unfortunately the fellow who helped with our IT is no longer available. Sadly I am not good enough to fix these glitches but I will see if I can ask on the Simple Machines forum. Traditionally they have not been particularly helpful and seem to think anyone with their platform should be quite proficient at IT. Ironic, given they chose the name "Simple Machines!"
