Title: Free Event: Compassion & Mindfulness (plus speaker Richard Schwartz and IFS)
Post by: Hope67 on January 20, 2021, 02:55:22 PM
I have found a free event between January 30th and February 3rd which is called:

"Learn How to Successfully Integrate Compassion and Mindfulness into your Therapy Practice"

Whilst I think it's for therapists, I think it might also be helpful for non-therapists - and I'm hoping to watch Richard Schwarz's session about IFS in particular - plus there look to be other interesting speakers.

Here is a link:

This conference is due to start today (30th January 2021) and a link is here, if you want to join it:

The keynote speech includes Tara Brach, who I am interested to hear talk.  I'm hoping to watch a few of the talks if I can.

I haven't managed to watch any of these yet, but I really hope to watch Richard Schwartz's talk, which is:

I just watched the talk by Richard Scwartz called 'Working with Shame and the Inner Critic' (which is about the IFS model - internal family systems) and it was a really great talk - it's 46 minutes long, and I've taken some notes, I might write up my notes in my journal later, so I can keep them and read them back.

Thank you for posting the links, Hope. I missed the talk, unfortunately, but it sounds like it was really good.
