I just noticed you added a second song.

I liked the first one! Soothing and compassionate.

In reply to the thread you started I wanted to share this song with you.
It's full of rage.
The band is aptly called "The Raging Men".
It's in Dutch.
The lyrics (very repetitive) are basically:
"How about me taking a dump on you?!
Or do you already have dung for brains?!"

Noisy! VERY. Not in tune with the first one you posted, at all.
It's short, that's the only redeeming factor  ;D .

Edit: Merged two posts into one.

I might be overdoing this a bit, but I had already forgotten there's a Japanese Punk-band covering this song (during a tour in Holland, judging by the introduction).

So perhaps we could all shout at the appropriate time "Poep in je hoofd!" (dung in your head)

(Oh, to watch the Japanese woman enjoying herself: Awesome  ;D )

Thank you Serkinglight.  This is a beautiful song.  It brought tears  :'(.  In my dreams, I wish my husband loved me for me, the "beautiful" freak that I am.  He is always telling me I am a freak because of my twisted sense of humor, the movies I like, the music, and my eccentric interests.  Says I am not a normal girl.  But, it is more like he has a buddy to hangout when he isn't doing anything else and someone to support him.  There is not a sense of real affection or love in our relationship.  It does not feel like a marriage at all.  There is no passion, real concern, empathy or compassion.  It is lonely, I feel empty and worthless, like I don't really know who I am.  Hopefully I will be able to make some decisions soon and either leave or convince him to return to marriage counseling and make another go at that to save our marriage.

I'm glad the song moved you, MaryAnn. A real beauty of a creation. The tears flow every single time I hear it--almost to the
point where it's too much (that happens to me with music--I almost can't go there most of the time, despite being a musician--
go figure...).

I'm sorry you're not feeling the kind of love and acceptance from your husband that you deserve--I'm sure you ARE a beautiful
freak. That song sort of represents for me the way I wish so desperately someone would feel about me. But it occurs to me
that it could be a song directed at ourselves by ourselves (a new take on the FUBU brand...FOBO).

Ive been listening to Black Sabbath a lot lately, and the chorus in one song (Sabbath bloody Sabbath) really resonates with me....

No one ever seems to let you know
When you ask for reasons why
They just tell you that your on your own
and fill your head all full of lies.
